PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY, AS WELL AS THE SAFETY OF OTHERS:
(This information pertains to ALL of my fishing trips; including ice fishing, boat fishing, and ones that may not be presently advertised.)
1. Any and all fishing poses a risk to the person(s) engaging in the activity.
- Fishing hooks, fishing gear, fishing line, pliers, nail clippers, etc. are all potentially hazardous items, and should only be used/handled under the supervision of the Captain. Never attempt to handle something that you are unsure of how to use without the supervision of a professional.
2. Each publicly owned/run/funded body of water (including but not limited to:
lakes, rivers, streams, dams, etc.) in the State of Pennsylvania has it's own unique boating and fishing regulations that must be followed at all times.
- I may impose further restrictions in regard to weight, size, speices, lake, etc. This is to preserve the wildlife that we may or may not be activly fishing for.
3. Minors: I do not take anyone out on the boat if they are younger than 10 years of age; as it is a part of my insurance.
There is absolutely NO circumstance where I will bend on this rule.
- A minor (anyone 15 years of age and younger) must be accompanied by adults. No Exceptions. This is to further insure safety of the child and others. Anyone from the age of 15-17 may go with written permission from a parent or legal guardian.
- Everyone 16 years of age and older will be required to bring their Pennsylvania Fishing License. (The State of Pennsylvania does not require an individual to have a fishing ID until the age of 16.) Anyone who fails to bring their Pennsylvania State issued Fishing License will not be allowed to fish. They may still come out on the boat or ice, but fishing will not be permitted.
4. There is a propane heater that will be present on both the boat and in the ice fishing tent that can be used as needed.
- Only the Captain may light, move, touch, or do anything with or to the propane heater. Failure to comply with these rules may result in injury.
- 5. The deck, seats, and all other areas of the boat are subject to being slippery.
- Please use caution when entering, exiting, standing up, sitting down, walking around, etc. on the boat.
- Do not attempt to run, or walk fast paced on, off, or toward the boat to ensure safety.
6. Ice is a very slippery substance. Although we provide ice cleats for the bottom of the shoes, please be aware that it is still possible to fall with them on.
- Please use caution when entering, exiting, standing up, sitting down, walking around, etc. while inside or outside the tent.
- Do not attempt to run, walk fast paced on, off, or toward the tent to ensure safety.
7. If you bring your own rods and bait I am not responsible for their getting lost, broken, etc. It is the responsibility of the patron to look after their materials.
